The master of ceremonies ended the official part of the night. Which meant we were now expected to go back inside, completing the mate bond as we would mate. I took three whole steps before I was picked up. Kai held me in his arms, bridal style, while Seb, Mason and Alex were cheering for him as if they were Kai’s personal cheerleaders. People clapped as Kai took me back inside, giving the pack the chance to get inside where the party would be held. Kai carried me up the stairs all the way down to our bedroom.
