My mom came out of my father’s hospital room, as she nodded at me to come in. I took in a deep breath as I walked up to her. She gave me a warm smile, trying to comfort me, as I walked inside, seeing Kai was sitting next to my father’s bed. I looked at both men, who were both looking at me with so much love in their eyes, a different kind of love, but strong without a doubt. My dad gave me a small smile.
“So, aren’t you going to introduce me to the one who saved my life?” I tilted my head.
