I slowly woke up, turning around to look at the clock. It was already 10 o’clock.

I never sleep this long!
But my thoughts immediately went back to last night, when we had finally become one. Now, every wolf in the pack, in the world, knew that this gorgeous angel lying next to me was mine and mine alone. And I was hers, completely. My heart skipped a beat, knowing what day it was today. It was Christmas morning, the first Christmas with my mate.
