I was away for the entire day, as Zoey stayed back at the hotel to rest. I felt bad to leave her there, but she was scared about her husband Jasper finding her out. So, I didn’t push her much. As I went to the plot, I realised that the rumors were right. The entire project is about to drown, along with my investment. Thankfully, I finally decided to come and check. There was a lot of works to handle in my office. So it took me the entire day. Zoey was on my mind all day, as I was getting worried about her wellbeing.
At night, I was about to go back to the hotel by 8 pm. But after finishing my day’s work, it becomes 10. I hurried to go back and unfortunately got caught in traffic. I don’t know what she will think. I wonder if she is fe
