The Last Of Sebastian's Tale

Her frantic cries accompanied by her sudden surge if strength alerted my father. “Is the girl awake now?” We were sharing a moment of blissful pleasure and between her wolf and my father, they were adamantly making sure I suffered. I sighed knowing there was no way out of this. “yes, she’s up” He waltzed in, exerting his authority by emitting a stronger, more intense aura to signal he was a man to be feared. However, it didn’t play out too well. Her wolf was having none of it. Between her fierce growls and her stance of attack, if I did not do something and do it quickly, the outcome could be dire. The minute she leapt through the air, I was right there to restrain her, though she was unbelievably strong, especially for a female werewolf, I was able to wrapped her in my arms willing her to calm down. But my domineering waste of a father was seeking to aggravate her more. “Control her” he growled in a low deep demanding tone. My arms nearly gave out as she tried with one final attempt to claw at his face. I really should have let her at him but I didn’t want to bear the pain of loosing her, just like I had lost a mother and though I barely knew her, I held no malice towards her for I knew it had to be of my father’s doings. I strengthened my grip and as I did, the most unusual thing occurred, her eye changed colours from brown to a silvery white. How was her transformation beginning so soon? But anger’s high soon took a toll on her, and once again she passed out. Finally, after several long hours, she woke up. “You’re up?” the worry in my voice was evident and today’s episode only deepened her desire to know more of all she could not yet remember. “Maybe we could talk,…. over some dinner?” I proposed, knowing by now she must be starving, after all, I hadn’t eaten yet in solidarity with her and I was famish. Just then a faint mumble floated to the air “I guess your stomach is in full support of that idea.” I teased. I point to this bathroom “You can wash up over there and when you are done, your clothes are in the closet right there… I had Jack, my assistant, collect them from by your parents a few weeks ago.” Maybe I shouldn’t have mentioned parents, because it only peaked her curiosity to see them, but now wasn’t a good time. I left her to get dress but when I returned, I found her leaning against the door frame, she claimed she was ok however, I knew it had begun, her memory was returning. I presented her with the alternative of staying home, but she refused, so with my help we walked down the stairs and to the car. We drove in our usual silence until we reach , which would have been a restaurant with familiarity to help jog her memory. She chose the balcony seating arrangement which was a signal that her wolf was desperately trying to aid her in speedy memory recovery. I knew it was her wolf because from the slight shiver of her body, I knew she would have preferred inside. I wasn’t against her memory recovery, so I went with the flow and it was totally worth it as her eyes glistened with the stars of the night. I couldn’t help my admiration for her. The waiter finally returned and like clock work, she retrieved another memory. Must have been the one with her friends for shortly after she asked about them. I smiled as she wondered if she had friends. “of course you do…am I not your friend?” She was most beautiful when she blushed, then a shiver followed as a night's breeze blew. I quickly sprung into action, placing my jacket over her. She smiled and we began to eat. Less than half way in she was ready to have her questions answered. “Ok, so first question…Who am I?” I answered to the best of my ability and she attentively listened. That was until, I saw her change in behaviour, unbeknownst to her, I saw a glimpse of her wolf in her eyes. Either danger or her mate and I somehow knew it was the latter. I lifted my eyes to verify my suspicions and sure enough I was correct, Ryder and his Beta had returned to the place we last met, but he dared not stick around once he saw me, I had given him warning enough. Like an obedient dog, he left. Now my focus returned to Allison who stilled remain in a state of shock at the news she was a werewolf, but a conversation with her wolf helped to validate my claims. I knew they were talking, I wanted to know what was being said but somehow, she was beyond the ordinary, my override mind link was not strong enough to pry into her inner conversation. I knew in that moment, I had lost any possible opportunities to ever have her heart. If her wolf was back, then her only desire would now be her mate. ****** “Master, master! I can get two for the price of one.” Darkness smiled. “A man provoked by emotions of sadness, anger and ultimately revenge. Perfect host.” The vibration of evil echoed through the darken layer of the deserted doom. “Another Lycan Prince, like father like son. Let darkness run it course.” An evil presence overshadowed Sebastian but a small shimmer of light still fought its power, he was not fully accessible until he voluntary released his grip on the light. ****** I retuned home feeling very weighted down, yet at the same time there was a surge of energy and an unusual desire to finally relieve my s****l urges an act that was being triggered by the need to accelerate the mating process, which was undoubtedly going to sever Allison’s existing bond with her mate. It was like one solution solved all. Silly of me to think I would have succeeded though, father showed up, his voice echoing through the house, demanding my presence. By his tone, he was up to no good and I was once again a pawn in the player’s hand. Now instead of simply waiting for Allison’s family to come to us, we were going to lure them out. First her friends, which was not too difficult since they were already searching for her. We orchestrated it in such a way they would find her then report word back to the others. I knew they had been at the house, they had finally found her. Phase one completed. Once they knew, it would just be a matter of time before before an army rallied together to “rescue her.” However, we failed to factor in the possible outcome of her stumbling across her mate. I should have kept her home the day she insisted to travel out with me, but my soften heart granted her, her heart’s desire which yielded a potential lethal blow to the plan. After that, she snuck out at nights to meet him, we were bound together by a mark even if we hadn’t bonded, so her secret outings weren’t so secret after all. But I allowed it to continue, because I knew the strong their bond, the more fatal the effects of the sever when the time had come. To me, he never deserved her, therefore, there was not an ounces of remorse within me for him. Then finally, as expect, they came to reduce her. It was the day of battle, but by now, I had waved goodbye to my final trace of humanity. I lost control of my mind and I no longer operated on my own accord. I felt thirsty for a taste of revenge. I inflicted a fatal wound on the enemy, her beloved Ryder, but it was all in vain. Allison was a unique treasure and in my final moments of life, I got to witness just that. I heard the howl of my father’s last breath, a much too mild punishment for what he really deserved but I knew as Allison advanced towards me, his fate was mine to bear. Evil had run its course and left the corpse. ****** “Master! I’m back. None of them survived the battle, we need a new recruit.”
