Daemon turned around to face her, a glow of delight on his face. "Wait, stay still." He whispered, his eyes flicked down to her lips and he slowly leaned in. This time with blushing cheeks, she instinctively closed her eyes.
She felt him thumb gently rubbing the side of her mouth and her eyes flew open in confusion.
“It’s gone now.” He said, retreating.
Paige arched a brow, trying to process what just happened.
“Ah, you had some mayonnaise from the potato salad at the side of out mouth.” He divulge as he examined the white substance on his thumb before wiping it off into the leg of his pants. “but I wiped it off, so it’s gone now.”
