CHAPTER 40
Rahman went straight to Charmia's room upon his arrival. He arrived using the chartered flight exclusive for the island guests.
He had attended to various business engagements the past three days, as he assumed a key position in his family business. He turned away from his obligation to the family since his wife died. He had been a hermit since he lost his wife. Now that he was retaking the lead, Rahman found himself exhausted from his tasking every day activities. Unlike their peaceful life on the island, now Rahman traveled a lot, and he was worried about Annisa, but he was grateful that Charmia was always with her, when he wasn’t around.
Rahman knocks on Charmia's room. She opened it right away.
"Hi," he smiled brightly at Charmia.
"Hello, you are finally here," she said
