I talked to the receiptionest and told her that I have appointment with Mr Austin and she called Mr Austin and told him about me.
" Ma'am Mr Austin is waiting for in his office" she said
" Thank you so much and where is his office can you help me with it"I said
She told me that the direction and I followed it and knock on the door and Mr Austin opened the door for me.
I went inside and sit on the chair and Mr Austin sit on his chair and said,
" Miss Valerie I study the case and I'm afraid to say that our case is weak, your signature is on the legal documents"
" I didn't know that my friends fraud with me. I didn't know anything about that"I said
" Yeah I know that but if you are willing to file a case against your friends so it may helped our case" Mr Austin said
" No I don't want to file a case against them. I can't do that" I said
" Miss Valerie think about that again, it will help our case" Mr Austin said
" No I don't want to do and I will not change that and please is their any other solution besides that" I said
He gets up from the chair and walk around the table and said,
" Miss Valerie their no other way but... he took a pause... but if you talk to the new house owner and told him about your situation maybe he will help us"
" Do you know who bought my house? I asked Mr Austin
" I don't have information about that but if you want to know who's bought your house then I call the agent that bought the house first" he said
" Oh no I'll talk to the new house owner and thank you for giving me the time and have a nice day" I said and get up from the chair and Mr Austin walked me to the door and went outside of his office.
" O God! why me? why me always, their are billions of people living on earth and it's only happened to me" I thought and take a deep breath.
I went to the car and unlock it. I threw the bag pack on passenger seat and get in the car, first I thought to meet with the owner but I realized I should give grace her car back, maybe she needed.
I pull out the phone and call grace...
" Hello grace where are you? How's Nick doing? I said
" Don't ask me about that we are at hospital" She said
" What happened? which hospital? I said
" You know the hospital near my house, we are in ER" she said
I told her, I'm coming there in 30 minutes then I hung up the phone.
" Oh God Valerie what we have done to Nick, poor Nick. I feel bad about him and it's all happened because of me" I thought and starts driving.
I reached hospital about an hour because of damn f*****g traffic but finally I got there then I parked the outside of the hospital and grab my bag pack and get off the car. I raised my gaze and saw Nick and grace were walking out of hospital.
I wave my hand in air to caught their attention and they saw me. I moved forward towards them and said," What happened? why you are coming out of the hospital is everything alright"
" Yeah he is fine, just a temperature and the doctor gives medication" she said
" Oh thank God! He is fine or else I'll never forgave myself" I said
" Yeah me too and how's is the meeting goes with the lawyer... she took a pause and glance on Nick and he was still not looking good.
We take Nick towards the car. I open the car door and I helped grace to get Nick in the car.
She asked me again what happened in the meeting and I told her everything what the lawyer said about the case and to meet with the new owner.
" You are so stupid! why didn't you complain against them Valerie. They fraud with you and you didn't have to place live" grace said
I know she is right but they were my friends they were like family to me, if I did the same things they did to me then there is no difference between them and me.
" I know what am I doing and still stand on my words. I'm not gonna complain against them" I said
" Wow Valerie dumb you are on another level of stupidity and what you gonna do now Valerie. What next? she said
" I guess I'm gonna meet with new owner and can you drop me off to my house" I said
" Obviously I'm gonna drop you and please don't create any chaos just talked to him politely" she said
I roll my eyes and take a deep breath. I told her that don't worry about I got this.. and why would you say that don't create chaos. I didn't do anything.
We both get in the car and I glanced back on Nick and he was sleeping on the back seat of car. I glanced back on road and the snowfall starts.
