As Ana opened her door to a persistent knock she gasped in near terror to find the hulking form of Roman standing in the door way, glaring down on her. As he stepped in and past Ana she noticed Rebecca.
Rebecca threw her arms around her and embraced her warmly. “Oh, Ana….” She exclaimed.
Ana stood shocked for a moment but then her resolve crumbled and she hugged desperately on to Rebecca burying her face into the woman’s bosom. Rebecca guided Ana to the settee and Roman closed the door.
