For the time we spent without him saying a word, I became talented at reading his expression. If the ability hadn't failed me, I could tell he was trying to find the words to convince me to go with him. Still, he was silent as I left a lasting embrace around Fin and turned to face him once we were left alone. But when he only stared at my feet, I prepared to walk back into the direction of town to keep suspicions low and sell my story. I stepped my sole once before feeling him tug me towards him.
