Chapter 10 Saturday Jessica’s last few days had gone by impossibly quickly. She’d spent Thursday afternoon out on the boat with Dad, a glorious day of bright sun, large fish, and happy tourists. The sole damper on the beautiful day was that it was the high season and her father’s boat hadn’t been full. Those two empty spots had glared at her for the entire trip as if she somehow had the answer.
