Clint didn’t know about Byrd’s identity. He only knew him as my business associate. So, when he saw him earlier, I knew he would ask me because the dinner supposedly for our family. Besides, I barely knew Byrd, so it wouldn’t make sense for Clint that I invited him into a family dinner.
Given that Clint is smart, he would say something to Byrd that could compromise our plan. Unless he knows what’s going on. That’s why I had to tell him.
While I was talking with him, Byrd and Hanna had a mini conversation, too. Maybe they had a little get to know with each other.
