I left my office, frustrated with the pack duties as well as the dead ends onto the Alpha King’s pack. Everything was either classified or didn’t exist. The secrecy was a dead giveaway that something wasn’t right. I looked at the time and frowned. Normally Raj would’ve been here by now and I would’ve spent some time with her. I can smell her here, so I know she’s home, but why didn’t she come see me? As if the day couldn’t get any more frustrating my mate doesn’t want to see me?
