*Arkyn’s POV*
I stared at the letter one more time. It had arrived this morning in quite expensive envelope and letterhead. Colton was peeking over the desk, and I felt my anxiety slowly rising. “Well…what does it say?” Colton questioned excitedly. I frowned a bit as I leaned back, lifting the letter to eye level.
“You are cordially invited to attend The Christmas Eve Banquet at Howling’s Point” I read out loud. Howling’s Point was the tallest mountain in the state, where few ever went hiking. I’m assuming that’s where the Goddess’ Royal Guards have been secluded all this time, and where Raj is currently staying.
