I wasn’t sure how long I was sitting there unmoving. My thoughts would drift to the multiple scenarios once she wakes up. Would she leave me to go with her father? Would she stay? Would she allow me to mark her? Could I mark her? I sighed, resting my forehead against her hand. I was exhausted, and I couldn’t function anymore. It was finally over, yet why was she still unconscious? I just want her back…see her smiling.
