Home and in her bed Evie could only stare at the ceiling. She had seen Tristen. She knew it was real and he had been staring directly at her. Hadn’t she? Or was Erik correct and she hadn’t seen him yet and saw a vision again? It was a possibility she couldn’t ignore, just like the words he last said to her. Those words he said still stung.
