That all seemed reasonable enough. Still, she was worried what the ramifications would be. Usually something distract always hit her, by this point, so maybe everything was fine and Thomas was correct about his intuition. She had to agree he did avoid the blood oath. She had meant her past with Elizabeth which he hadn’t mentioned. Only that she ran away, which really meant nothing without much context. Should she try bringing up their time before? Now that she understood his anger was stemming from infidelity, could she make up with him? No, it wouldn’t be worth it. He’d probably just get upset with her before she was even able to talk, and even if she did, he’d most likely think she was lying or forget again anyway making it pointless.
