Julius came home with a headache. If there was one thing he didn’t miss it was Board meetings. He didn’t know if it was just a difference in perspective or culture but the Paris offices were much more relaxed.
“Daddy!” Lyra squealed running up to him.
Smiling he scooped her up and hugged her as her brother quickly followed. Julius chuckled as the boy gripped his leg and sat on his foot. He grunted as he attempted to walk with the boy in place. For years he had come home to this same routine and as much as he loved it Coda was certainly much heavier than he used to be.
