Nicolas was nervous as they pulled up to the rather modest-looking home in Astoria. He wasn’t certain what he expected despite the rumors circulating that Lucas was selling his family estate. Though Nicolas wasn’t privy to all the details, he knew there had been some fall out between Lucas and his family.
It was the hottest talk throughout the night just a step behind the debate about who Rosemary was. He was fairly certain Lidia had been at the party fanning flames on both fronts until Rosemary’s reveal. Nicolas didn’t remember seeing her after that but then again he remembered nothing once his gaze settled on Aubrey and Jamie. Nothing else mattered after that.
