Alex could not feel his legs as he slowly walked towards Tamara.
His entire body was shaking. His fear of the past three days, he never experienced before.
He gave her a tender hug when he reached her side. He couldn’t speak. He was simply grateful she was finally awake.
Alex caressed Tamara's tender cheeks, wiping her tears, and gave a gentle kiss on her dried lips. He listened to Tamara's faint voice when she said, "I love you," her voice almost non-existent, but it didn’t matter; he heard her clearly. He was relieved, his heart finally at rest.
In a deep sigh, he uttered, "I love you too!" he smiled while tears fall from his eyes.
"Thank you for coming back to me, Tamara." He uttered while he continued to press her hand and kissed it.
