Nick spent the next two days catching up on pack duties, training his men and going over budgets, checking on the construction of the new school and of Lucinda’s new office. It was now gutted and they were laying the flooring she had picked, a very plush, deep magenta, coloured carpet.
The woman, it seemed, was going to have a very girly office. She had shown him the white lounge and matching chairs she had picked out. Her desk was a soft grey wood with a matching grey material chair. She wanted the walls to be cream and she had picked ombre curtains that matched the carpet, were cream on top and darkened to a very deep pink hue at the bottom.
