ELIK
We were almost at the dormitory. I gave Klaud a sidelong glance, I breathed heavily when I saw her still engrossed in her thoughts and perhaps didn’t notice that we were almost at our destination.
Klaud had been silent since we left the manor, responding to me with short words such as yes, no, hmm, yeah, and sat there quietly for God only knew what thoughts were running in her head.
I wish I could read her mind, so I didn’t have to ask, it made me ill at ease when I see her like this.
Did she regret what happened to us?
Did I rush things between us?
Was she fearful of the consequences?
I hoped nothing of those assumptions was right. I couldn’t get her out of my system now. I needed to assure her more of my feelings for her and tell her I would do anything to prot
