ELIK
In a few more minutes, we needed to escape this place. Men and women were dancing to the tune of Tango, Waltz, Foxtrot, all ballroom stuff. I should have enjoyed this, just like most gentlemen inside the hall, but this kind of affair was never my thing. Being here was more of a duty than anything else.
In addition to the fact that I saw Van Allen had approached Klaud, I didn't want him anywhere near her. I needed to get Klaud away from here as soon as possible.
