“Miraculously, you have a free day today and no schedule for tomorrow. Congratulations, you finally have a long weekend,” Frio announced with excitement on his face, while he joined me for late breakfast.
I couldn’t blame him for feeling great, because when I have free days, they also have free days.
My schedule had been crazy for the past three weeks, even weekend breaks we never had.
An unscheduled state visit made it worse. It was the crown's duty but the Queen had been feeling under the weather days before the state visit. She thought she’d get better, but two days before their departure, it developed into bad flu. Naturally, no one could take her place but me. So, despite my fit for a slave schedule, they informed the inviting country I would attend in her place.
