Night and Day CSAR is perhaps the most dangerous mission of them all. One of their sayings is, “Sometimes even the SEALs need to dial 911.” The fliers of Combat Search and Rescue fly into the middle of a battle and extract the wounded, racing to get them to the hospital within the “Golden Hour”—the sixty minute window after injury that drastically improves the victim’s chances of survival.
