Emma was in her office reviewing contract negotiations when her assistant knocked on the door.
"I'm sorry to interrupt, but you might want to see this." Sarah held out her phone with an apologetic expression.
The screen showed a gossip website with the headline: "New Leafs Owner's Husband Steps Out in Stockholm." Below it, a series of photos showed Alek and Katarina at an upscale restaurant, laughing over wine and candlelight.
Emma's stomach dropped. "Where did these come from?"
"Someone posted them on social media. They're already being picked up by the hockey blogs."
