“I’m hungry,” Raven blurts out.
I had just witnessed her unleashing her full powers and was still in awe of my mate. I knew she was amazing from the day we met. Every day she takes my breath away. “You are hungry?” I laugh.
Raven nods, “Let’s go to the diner and get you some pancakes.”
“I do love pancakes,” I grin and kiss her.
Someone clears their throat, and I remember her family standing there.
“Raven, you don’t want to eat breakfast with us?” Temperance asks.
“Sorry, Mom. I want to catch up with my friends at the diner,” Raven counters.
Temperance nods, “Fine.”
“We’ll be back for dinner. I promise,” Raven smiles at her mother.
