Raven “You should tell him yourself,” I say to Luca. “I’m sure Papi would love to see you.” Luca frowns as he takes a long drag of his cigar, “It’s complicated, I’m afraid.” He exhales a cloud of smoke and then stamps the cigar on his hand. He then places it into a case. “I have to go. What did you say your name was?” “Raven,” I respond. “Raven Starsky.” “Miss,” Thalice’s meek voice says behind me. I hold a finger up to her, “Papi talks about you and your brother often.” “Perhaps one day we’ll meet again,” Luca sighs. “Miss,” Thalice tugs on my dress. “I really must have you come with me.” “I have to go,” Luca huffs. “It was nice meeting you, Raven.” He says, then walks around Thalice and disappears into the palace. “Miss,” Thalice repeats frantically. “What?” I drawl at her.
