I stood there watching them for another minute before Gavin noticed I was there. With a huge smile, he came over to me, wrapped me in his arms and planted a kiss on my temple. That gesture never failed to give me butterflies in my tummy. I hugged him back, and gave him a quick kiss on the lips.
"Are you two ready to go?" I questioned. "The meeting starts in fifteen minutes and I would like to make sure there are no last-minute issues that need to be sorted out."
"Ready when you are, my love," Gavin replied. "Jason mind-linked me a few minutes ago to let me know that Alpha Matteo has requested a few minutes of our time before the meeting starts. He is waiting for us in the dining room."
