The feeling of happiness and contentment stayed with me as I got myself ready for the day. Normally, Gavin and I would have breakfast in our suite, but with so many Alpha's and their units on pack territory, it was important for me to make an appearance in the pack dining hall.
A welcome packet had been placed in each visitor's suite letting them know that breakfast for the guests began serving at eight. Most pack members either had their breakfast in their own homes, their suites in the pack house, or in the dining hall at the six a.m. seating. We scheduled it this way to take pressure off of the kitchen staff, as we didn't want them flustered and exhausted from running around trying to feed upward of an additional five hundred shifters.
