The shock wave shook the very foundations of the hospital, knocking us off our feet. My last thought before losing consciousness was 'this can't be good." The slow, drip, drip, drip of water droplets was the first thing I was aware of as I drifted up from the depths of darkness. I opened my eyes, thankful for my enhanced shifter sight as the place I was in was as dark as pitch. The smell of damp earth filled my nose. I lifted my head to look around only to see that I was alone in what appeared to be an old cellar, or dungeon. A heavy steel door was the only way in or out.
