Yes, my walls were up, and solid. This group was seriously creepy. When Alpha Brun held out his hand to shake ours, none of us took it. We just nodded in acknowledgment of the introduction. And every time he would 'innocently' try to touch any one of us, we deftly moved away, avoiding physical contact. They finally got the hint and moved on, allowing those groups following behind to step forward to be greeted.
The formalities over, everyone was seated to allow the meal to be served. I was seated at the 'Royal' table with Pa, Ma and the rest of our group, which now included Dragon King Brenton, Prince Idris and Scarlett. Alpha Brun and his unit had attempted to gain seating at our table, but thankfully there was no room.
