For the past two days, Archie and I have been working together, miraculously well, for my father's birthday preparations. It helped me to look past the image I have built on Archie and then only it really dawned on me, how much he actually changed. It felt like I was with a new person. No snide remarks or sarcastic comebacks at all. No hatred or sorrow in his beautiful eyes. He was genuinely in a better mood compared to how he was in the beginning.
