I couldn't think straight. I cannot seem to erase the mental image of Archie with that servant girl, Amaya. I shook my head in a vain attempt it helped me to get rid of that image. I shouldn't think about them. I shouldn't think about them. That's what I kept chanting to myself as if it was a mantra. I tried to think of something else and unfortunately, it didn't make me feel better either. Today was the day. Today is my father's birthday. Usually, every year, I would be the first one to wish him. I will plan out his birthday celebration a month prior and begin to hunt for a perfect gift to give him. I would give it to him right after the cake-cutting session and watch him with a huge smile on my face as he unwraps the gift. It made me happy, always. This year, however, I was blessed
