I never knew that I will run out of words to describe the excruciating pain that I was experiencing now. It felt as if someone tore my chest open and ripped my heart into pieces only to pour scalding water on it. Another tear rolled down my cheek. My eyes burned and felt itchy from all the crying I have done. I curled myself into a fetal position and shivered, my mind replaying the moment with my father again. A cry left my lips and I squeezed my eyes shut, sobbing pathetically against my pillow which was now drenched in my tears. A hand rubbed behind my back in a futile attempt to give me some comfort, "You can't be like this forever, Prosepene" Fiona said in a soothing tone, "Get up. Get yourself together" She urged, patting my back encouragingly. "How can I, Fio?" I shook my head.
