Logan and Blaze grabbed their bags from the revolving carousel in the San Diego airport and headed for parking. Soon, they were in Logan’s dirty car and heading for Encinitas, traveling stop-and-go because workers were headed home for the evening.
“This is one thing I don’t miss in Yellowstone Gateway,” Blaze said. “I lived here for a time after leaving the service, so I know all too well what it’s like.”
“It’s getting worse every year. It’ll be nice to spend time in my new rental and be able to get to the shops, into the park, or at Kaye’s in minutes.”
