“People are starting to stare.” I whisper while we twirl around the ballroom. Lucifer and I have been dancing amongst the other couples for about ten minutes. With each passing minute, I notice more and more sets of eyes aimed in our direction, some people with looks of surprise, others jealousy.
“Let them stare.” Lucifer replies spinning me around in an elegant-like grace, one you wouldn’t expect the King of Hell to have since everyone sees him as a brutish individual. “Most of them are jealous because I get to dance with the most beautiful woman in all the realms.”
