Once the red flames die down around us from his teleport, Lucifer places me on my feet in front of him. We stare at each other a moment in silence as if we can’t believe the other is really standing there. Unable to hold myself back any longer, I jump up and throw my arms around Lucifer’s neck, wrapping my legs around his waist in the process. Lucifer catches me as he stumbles back a bit, clearly caught off guard at my movement. I hug him to me tightly as I rest my face in the crook of his neck, being a creeper and inhaling his delicious scent that I’ve been deprived of. I hear Lucifer inhaling my scent as well, feeling his unkempt beard tickling my skin.
