I have no idea who this girl is, but the moment she looked me in the eye, I knew she was no omega. And if she’s not, then she knows how to properly reject a mate. So, she’s hiding who she is, and I’m intrigued. Why would an Alpha wolf, for that is what Pierce says she is, be hiding as an omega?
“I have no idea what you’re talking about,” she says, her chin jutting up. I want to smile, but I fight it. It’s very possible that this Alpha pretending to be an omega will smack me if I do. Although, it might be worth it to see just how strong she is. I’m not sure how William didn’t notice that she was an Alpha.
“How old were you when you arrived in this pack?” I ask her.

“Where is your family?”
