Valerie’s POV
I start to look around. The place is amazing. Linda is really lucky. She is lucky to have everything that I could have had. I laugh inwardly at my fate. A dying girl fell in love and got married to a man with a beautiful mistress.
“Hey, watch out,” a rude voice brings me back. I realize that I have bumped into her.
“I’m really sorry.” I apologize quickly.
“You better be. Who are you, by the way?” She asks again.
“Look at her dress. She must be some middle class.” Another friend of her reply.
“Pathetic! I can’t believe someone like her has shown up at a party like this.” The first girl insults me again.
