After an hour, giving Kysenia time to shower and the servants time to change the bloodied bed covers, Luca came knocking.
Aiden let him in under Kysenia’s instruction.
He came busting in full of energy. “Kysenia! Are you alright?”
He saw that she was sitting up in bed, having a cup of tea. He breathed a sigh of relief. He glanced left and right and saw Talon, leaning on the wall as usual.
“Where’s your pet?”
“His name is Daniel…he’s in Nolan’s room, sleeping.” Kysenia answered a little annoyed.
“Oh…okay. I wasn’t aware that you were inclined to share him…” Luca’s eyes twinkled with mirth.
“Don’t be crude, Luca…I took his blood to heal so quickly, as if you couldn’t figure that out on your own.”
Luca laughed. “Yes, alright! You’re so obviously very possessive of him…”
