The morning brought more wonder for Daniel as he was awakened early by Kysenia jostling him awake and motioning for him to follow her up to the rooftop.
The day was just dawning and as they stood under the pergola on the square of artificial turf surrounded by lush potted plants of all shapes and sizes, including roses, azaleas, palms and ferns, in full summer bloom and deep rich greenery, they watched the sun rise on the far off horizon in the direction of the lowlands.
Daniel encircled Kysenia with his arms, hunching down and enveloping her as he rested his chin on her shoulder. She hugged his arms around her and leaned back into him. Two people in love watching the glorious sunrise from an amazing secluded viewpoint. In that moment life was bliss.
