As they were snuggled into each other’s embrace, laying side by side, face to face, their legs tangled together with Kysenia’s head resting on Daniel’s arm, they just stared into each other’s eyes, smiling like love sick teenagers.
Kysenia was well aware that technically Daniel was still a teenager.
“Daniel, your birthday is during summer break, right?”
“Yeah…”
“Do you want to come away with me?”
“Away? Where to?”
“There’s a couple of places I need to go…” She looked down and played her fingers over his chest.
Daniel pulled his arm out from under her head slightly so he could prop himself up and looked down on her. “You’re being coy again…”
She smiled and reached up to brush his hair out of his eyes.
