Chloe had spent the last two and a half hours getting ready for Sean’s birthday party. Every year in the last week of June, Sean’s parents would invite every single person in his grade and throw a large bash just for their son. It was always done at the family cabin and although there was a ritual of the cops being called, someone hooking up, and someone throwing up-this routine continued since he was a teenager.
