The towering skyscrapers, the endless honking of yellow cabs, and the sheer crush of people should have made this trip exhilarating. But for Blade, New York City had been one long nightmare. And honestly, seeing a man like Blade sigh and groan every step he took outside of the hotel, gave me all the ammo I needed to tease him non-stop. So of course, for me, this trip had been incredible!
I had never seen someone look so out of place in a city before. That was saying something, considering Blade was a werewolf. And of course, being inside the city that never sleeps, gave him zero chances to go outside and shift and go for a run in his wolf form.
