After dinner, with plates stacked in the sink and crumbs still scattered across my small kitchen table, Blade eyed the board games I had tucked into the corner of my small living room. “We’re not stopping yet, right?” he asked, his eyes gleaming with mischief. “No true Christmas Eve is complete without a round of Monopoly or whatever it is you’ve got hidden over there.” I snorted, already imagining the chaos that would follow if we attempted Monopoly after a couple of glasses of wine. “You realize Monopoly is the quickest way to ruin an otherwise perfect holiday, right?
