My father, a man who often hid his struggles well, was not faring as well as he let on. Yet, I had hope that Bethany, a woman with a unique ability to illuminate even the darkest corners of one's soul, would be the one to lift him out of his despair. She had a way with her that had others wanting to help out, and I do not think she even knew she was doing it.
