Oh how I wished that I could have said yes to Jonny and stayed with him at the Blood pack, but I knew that now the shelter needed me more than ever. It had been a hard day and a half since the meeting with the council, and everyone was feeling a little tense. I filled them in on what had happened as soon as we got back, not wanting to keep anything from them, and they seemed to agree with me that we were still in danger.
