I sat in the back of the Blood pack’s jeep, my leg jittering up and down as if it had a life of its own as I stared out of the window, trying to distract myself from where we were heading to. It had been three days since Alpha Ash came to the shelter and told us that Alpha Black was the one that had been killing off the residents. No one was surprised, not by that news anyway. I had been more surprised by Elliot agreeing that we would go in front of the council to represent the shelter.
