Mich POV

It’s been three weeks Since he gave me a lift home. I have made sure I am never alone. Never allowing him an opportunity to come close. He keeps trying thou like that Tuesday, during break I was with my friends. Luca had dated a lot of girls in school like they would throw themselves at him, “The future Alpha”. However, From Mid-February no-one has actually seen him with any girl sling to his arm, but this cheerleader girl Maya. Are they together? Is she his mate? I have been to all 11 of his evening games. My friends Alexi and Liz mother has taken us to the cross quarter lands to the games. They always win than their victory meal. Each year she gives me a dress which was her childhood and youth years. I can finally wear in some of these. On my last birthday she gave me 5 dresses: “my prom dress, what I was wearing when I meet my first mate, when I left home dress …can’t recall the other two occasions because My mind was still trying to process “when I meet my first mate”. Don’t werewolves get one mate to complete each other? She dismissed it that day, promising me to talk about it someday when I actually meet my mate. I take out an off shoulder knee height flare rose pink poker dot dress. Put on a lil make up, little gloss on my lips, even use a heat curler to style my hair. Damn! I look good, pity no-one will see me. I couldn’t wear these dress before it would fall because my chest was flat. Now I show a cleavage…mom had recently bought me push up bra’s. I head downstairs poured myself juice and snugged into the couch with a magazine. I don’t know when I fell asleep but I hear the doorbell ring, I get up to open the door.

Narrative POV

“Hello,” Its Luca, rag her from head to toe. He tilts his head and takes a deep breath of her aroma, his eyes turn dark. Mich looked down at herself ‘what’s he looking at” as it dawned, she was still wearing a dress. She takes a step back. She has a flash back of this same reaction he had when he first meets her at the lake.

‘Lil wolf’, not hiding today.” He bits lips looking at her, she looked beautiful, cute, an off shoulder shows a bit of cleavage…breath taking. This was the first time he saw her in a dress. ‘come to me’ he commends her. She feels like stepping away but somehow his aura just fills the room, and his aroma is enchanting her she takes a step forward in submission even bows down a bit leaving her neck bare for him as if he would mark her as he desired.  She feels overwhelms she tries to mind-link the twins ‘H... e-lp’ she can barely control herself her wolf just submits to him. Luca had come to drop off the twins they had been visiting Drake after school, and they didn’t want to come outta the car still chatting.  Luca’s wolf inhales the sweet familiar aroma coming from the house and stepped out to go to the house. By the time she opened the door his wolf had taken over “mate, MATE”. An alpha could go into any house of the pack without an invite but the Vezi family house no one can go in with-out an invite. “Let me in” Luca says sounding frustrated this time. An alpha also can make every werewolf in the pack bow and submit. The mate has a power over a she-wolf. Today Luca lost control and was using ALL his power on his mate. That why there were rules to not meet up with she-wolf, potential mate when she was alone unless she consents to it. The twins come in the house wolf speed, when they get HELP message. Saya drags her up the stair while Drake calms Luca with his power and He with Siya drags him to the car. Mich and the twin agree not to tell the parents. That night she dreams about Luca, when they were in Everest Her wolf whispers a faint ‘mate’. When she gets up I the morning. The parents are in the kitchen and they have breakfast together.

“so mom how did you know dad was your mate? Mean does dad have a power over you…Jump…how high my lav?” she asks these question frustrated. The parents sense she was annoyed and sad.

“Have you met you mate?” Amanda ask her while rubbing her back. They knew they told her about the beauty of the mate bond. How when it happens you are gravitated towards each other. You are stronger together.

Mich just breaks down and cry “yes, but I can’t be with him. Not now anyway” her dad holds her hand

” Are you rejecting this mate?”-

“NO!” Mich response hastily as if she would bite their head off. The parents look at each other

” oh-uh…is he rejecting you?” she shakes her head no.

“It’s okay sweetie you don’t have to finalise anything. You can wait until your 16yrs. You will better clarity.” She wipes her tears

“how do I resist him in the meantime, my wolf seems to submit to him”. Amanda stands up going to the drawer comes with a box. The box has been siting there since the day the twins were sick and they saw the link between Luca and Mich.

Amanda says “Are you sure about this”

Mich nods yes

“okay you have to let us know when you ready to take it ok. “She’s a Lycan” the parent says in unison while rubbing their forehead with index and middle finger while the thumb rest on temple. The say this once they hear the water in the shower.

“Ya, at least she didn’t have to wait a life time’ Amanda smile and kiss her mate. The twins are ready to go when they come down the stair.

“We also going with you” Saya says “actual we need you to drop at Drake’s house”.
